I love food! (You probably do, too.) My fascination with what we eat includes taste (of course), chemical structure, medical aspects, and how our bodies transform it into energy. I try to break down science-based nutrition and wellness information and supply easy recipes for healthy eating and wellness.
I enjoy researching and sharing nutrition and wellness information. Let me help feed your body with nourishing dishes and fill your publication with science-based food speak. I’ll give you scoop for supplements and adaptogens, recipes reformulated for health, plus diet and fitness hacks and health news you can use. I also create supporting photos and/or graphics.
Occasionally, I’ll post about food safety, particularly nationwide recalls or outbreaks of pathogens like E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella. Once in a while, I’ll write about food safety practices in the home kitchen — very relevant while we are all cooking more at home during the pandemic!
I hate hunger and the fact that many people in our communities don’t have enough to eat or lack access to healthy, tasty food especially now, with coronavirus impacting employment and wages nationwide. Although food banks, community gardeners, and faith-based organizations are working to fill the need, times are tough for the foreseeable future with unemployment rates skyrocketing. Food does more than fill the belly, it has the power to nourish all parts of life.
